Can they get into my real apps?
Set up Guided Access on iPhone or iPad, or App Pinning on Android, before handing it over. On Android, require your PIN to unpin. Follow the screen-lock guide.
Can they make real calls or texts?
Calls and messages inside KiddOS are pretend. They do not use your real Phone or Messages apps.
What does it cost?
The core app is free. Star Pass is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks all premium apps.
Does it work offline?
Books, music and most play work offline. Built-in and imported videos do too; YouTube videos need internet. Speech depends on the voices installed on your device.
What about privacy?
KiddOS has no accounts, ads or analytics of its own. Most data stays on your device; Nearby play shares with nearby devices. YouTube’s data and advertising policies apply to online videos. Read our privacy policy.
